บริษัท บ้านปู จำกัด (มหาชน) ผู้นำธุรกิจด้านพลังงานแบบครบวงจรแห่งภูมิภาคเอเชีย-แปซิฟิก ได้รับการคัดเลือกเป็นสมาชิกในดัชนีความยั่งยืนดาวโจนส์ (Dow Jones Sustainability Indices: DJSI) ในกลุ่มตลาดเกิดใหม่ (Emerging Markets) ติดต่อกัน 6 ปี โดยในปี 2019 นี้ บริษัทฯ ยังคงรักษาสถานะผู้นำในกลุ่มพลังงานถ่านหินและพลังงานเพื่อการใช้งาน (Coal and Consumable Fuels) ได้อย่างต่อเนื่องจากการประเมินของ RobecoSAM ผู้จัดและประเมินมาตรฐานการตรวจวัดศักยภาพความยั่งยืนขององค์กรในระดับโลก อีกทั้งได้รับคะแนนประเมินประสิทธิผลการดำเนินธุรกิจตามแนวทางการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนสูงสุดใน 3 มิติ ประกอบด้วย เศรษฐกิจ สิ่งแวดล้อม และสังคม บ่งบอกถึงความมุ่งมั่นและความสำเร็จของบ้านปูฯ ในการดำเนินงานด้านความยั่งยืนซึ่งคำนึงถึงประเด็นด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม สังคม และการกำกับดูแลกิจการ (Environment, Social and Governance: ESG)
