เอสซีกรุ๊ป วางใจเลือกใช้ 'Nava™'จากไทยคม เสริมประสิทธิภาพการให้บริการทางทะเล

        บริษัท ไทยคม จำกัด (มหาชน) (THCOM) ผู้ให้บริการดาวเทียมไทย จับมือ บริษัท ชิพ เอ็กซ์เปิร์ท เทคโนโลยี จำกัด ผู้เชี่ยวชาญการออกแบบโปรแกรมระบบบริหารจัดการแก่อุตสาหกรรมทางทะเล ประกาศความสำเร็จในการบรรลุข้อตกลงเพื่อให้บริการแพลตฟอร์ม Nava™ แก่ บริษัท เอส ซี แมนเนจเมนท์ จำกัด (ในเครือเอสซีกรุ๊ป) ผู้นำด้านการให้บริการโลจิสติกส์แบบครบวงจรของเอเชีย โดยทั้งสามฝ่ายได้ลงนามเพื่อร่วมกันยกระดับการพัฒนาบริการด้านการสื่อสารทางทะเล โดยตั้งเป้าว่าเรือปฏิบัติงานนอกชายฝั่งของเอสซีกรุ๊ป จำนวนกว่า 30 ลำ จะได้รับการติดตั้ง Nava™ บริการบรอดแบนด์อินเตอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูงทางทะเลผ่านดาวเทียมจากไทยคม เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการปฏิบัติงานและให้บริการทางทะเล

     ด้วยเทคโนโลยี Fiber-To-The-Ship (FTTS™) ของ Nava™ ซึ่งมีขีดความสามารถในการรับ-ส่งข้อมูลด้วยความเร็วสูง ครอบคลุมทั่วภูมิภาคเอเชียแปซิฟิก จะช่วยส่งเสริมการทำงานของโซลูชั่นการจัดการขนส่งทางทะเลที่ได้รับการออกแบบโดย ชิพ เอ็กซ์เปิร์ท เทคโนโลยี ให้ทำงานได้อย่างเต็มศักยภาพ นอกจากนี้ เทคโนโลยี FTTS™ ยังช่วยให้ลูกเรือสามารถเชื่อมต่อและใช้งานในคลื่นสัญญาณ L-band ได้อีกด้วย

SC Group Improves Fleet Operations with Thaicom Nava Maritime Broadband Service

·         Thaicom Nava™ maritime service platform to enhance SC Group’s fleet operations and optimize operational efficiency on board 30 offshore support vessels.

·         Collaboration with maritime industry solution provider Ship Expert Technology Company Limited on the development of an integrated fleet management system.

       Nonthaburi (Thailand), 22 June 2018 – Thaicom Public Company Limited (THCOM), a leading Asian satellite operator and provider of integrated satellite communications solutions, and its distributor Ship Expert Technology Company Limited, have signed an agreement with SC Group, a leading Asian provider of integrated logistics, to collaborate on the joint development of a maritime communication network service. SC Group’s fleet of more than 30 offshore support vessels will be equipped with the new Nava service to enhance fleet operations and optimize operational efficiency.

Nava FTTS also helps crew keep connected and incorporates an L-band backup solution.
